Thumbs down No More Newspapers in SC

Read this via Loyalty Lobby. While not a deal breaker it will be a huge perk gone for me. Apparently gone starting Jan 1. Can anyone else confirm?

This would be quite sad. I always enjoy the papers when visiting lounges.

Well that’s lame. Sorry if the occasional Financial Times I stole was the cause of this change I’ll miss it - reading an actual paper newspaper was one of the joys of travel for me.

I would be more okay with it if they offered an alternative, like the Air France Press app that lets you download digital copies of newspapers and magazines to your phone...

If the cleaners would stop taking all the papers, then there would be some for others to read. LOL!

That sucks, and yes I would take a newspaper to read on the plane.

Newspapers are kinda time sensitive when the date changes they tend to be out of date

If true that is disappointing. Enjoy getting a chance to read the WSJ and NYT. But, that's the way it's going. Stopped at a Marriott that we have been using on our Christmas travels and there were no newspapers to be found in the hotel. They have also added a $5 parking charge, but don't want to get off topic any further.

WSJ was one of the main perks of the skyclub for me. I'll be sad to see it go.
